Ten arrested after human flesh allegedly sold at
Nigerian restaurant
21:37 Sat, 16 May 2015 A restaurant in Nigeria has been shut down amid
shocking accusations it served human meat.
Police were called to the hotel restaurant in the state
of Anambra after locals reported rumours of human
flesh being cooked, the BBC reports.
When police raided the restaurant they reportedly
discovered human heads that were still bleeding,
with the blood draining into plastic bags.
Not only was the restaurant caught with human flesh,
police also found a number of automatic weapons,
grenades, and cell phones.
Ten people were arrested in conjunction with the
crimes, the BBC reports,
"Every time I went to the market, I observed strange
activities going on in the hotel," one resident told the
BBC.
"People who were never cleanly dressed and who
looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the
hotel, making me very suspicious of their activities.
